Shortlist revealed for the NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2020

The shortlist for the inaugural NACFB Commercial Broker Awards 2020, has now been revealed.

The NACFB received over 150 entries to our first ever broker awards. The longlist was then whittled down to the shortlist by a panel of judges, incorporating votes from our complete Patron panel.

Despite an independent judging panel compiling the shortlist, the NACFB Board took the collective decision not to submit any entries this year, to help maintain and protect the integrity and impartiality of the new awards.

Commercial Broker Awards 2020 - Ceremony

As you will know, we took the decision of postponing April’s awards, due to be held at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham, at the start of the outbreak. We took decisive action early, in line with Government guidance, to ensure you were advised far enough in advance to minimise any disruption.

In place of the original Thursday 23rd April 2020 scheduling, we secured a further date with the venue. This new date is Tuesday 23rd March 2021. This new date will be kept under review and we shall inform you of any changes as soon as we receive more information from the venue.

On whatever date our first Commercial Broker Awards falls, you can guarantee that it will not only recognise the incredible work you highlighted in your submission, but we shall celebrate all the extraordinary efforts our community is presently undertaking to ensure UK SMEs receive critical business funding.
